The article deals with the life and work of Shihabuddin al-Alusi. In particular, al-Alusi, his creative path, teachers students, family, writings are described. addition, religious, political social situation in country where al-Alusi lived. Also main part this article, we see that is a mujtahid scholar who familiar controversial issues different sects follower Shafi school, but most cases he followed Path Abu Hanifa. Towards end turned to ijtihad from an early age had special interest learning mysteries Book God, thirteen showed keen knowledge. At five, memorized Qur`an, studied famous scholars and, turn, rose rank Mufti, held positions. His valuable Ruh al-Magani, which took 15 years write, will also be discussed, consists 30 volumes. began writing al-Magani at thirty-four.
